Our solid precise laser-cut acrylic letters are a cost-effective way to achieve a letter sign with a professional look. They are durable and provide instant color and visual presence. Due to their versatility, the design of your acrylic letter sign is limited only by your creativeness. Our acrylic letter signs enable you to augment your space with signage that is unique in character: one that truly matches your branding colors and reflects your organization's spirit.
Double layers acrylic letters are composed of a solid acrylic layer that acts as a substrate and a surface 3 mm layer that can be of any color. Alternatively, a metal laminate can be used to cover the substrate, establishing an elegant metallic look, and making our acrylic letters a budget-friendly alternative to raised metal letters.
Single-layer acrylic letters are composed of a single thick acrylic layer. Such letters have their frontside or backside painted or printed. Learn more about this and other options in the features and options section.
Our acrylic letters are lightweight they are installed either on another panel or directly as individual letters to a wall. They are most commonly installed with custom-made block stud mounts and spacers to fix the substrate on a wall surface and with double-sided tape to fix the surface layer onto the substrate. They can be installed on any wall surface. The stud spacers will make the letters float off the wall and produce a nice drop shadow effect.
We offer a variety of options for our Acrylic Letter Signs. Our options bring to you hundreds of design combinations. Explore different possibilities by viewing photos we are displaying as examples and don't hesitate to use your creativity to come up with the combination most suitable for your project.
From 3 to 25 mm, the most common is 10 mm. Thicker acrylic offers added durability and rigidity and greater light refraction for more sheen and dimensional depth in case backside painting or printing is used.
Acrylic letters are made to order, they are precisely custom-cut according to your design. You can choose any typeface (avoid fonts with sharp serifs).
Your letter-size is limited only by the wall-space available for your sign. Obviously, the larger the letter size of your sign on your wall or building, the easier it is to read.
The following rule of thumb may be used to determine the minimum required letter size. 5 cm letters are readable from 3 to 4.5 m away. Add 2 cm to the letter height for every 5 m of the distance they need to be read from.
We can cut any shape from acrylic sheets. Acrylic shapes can be painted, printed or laminated. This enables us to produce a unique acrylic sign that matches the shape and colors of your logo.
Check for the available colored acrylic sheets to specify the color of the thin surface layer of your letters. Colored acrylic sheets are available in opaque (piano-black, silver, gold, etc.) as well as translucent (tinted acrylic: blue, red, orange, etc.). Translucent colored acrylic is usually used in combination with clear transparent substrates enabling light to pass through to the surface layer.
Acrylic letters can be painted in any paint color.
Stunning results are obtained using digital printing on transparent acrylic material. The Printing option is great for displaying your business logo or brand at your store or office.
Metal laminate on a clear or opaque substrate. Several finishes are available in a variety including polished and brushed aluminum, brass, copper, bronze, and other specialty finishes. Metal laminates are a cost-effective alternative to raised metal letters.
Acrylic signs can be painted or printed on the frontside or backside of the surface, both of which offer different advantages. Backside painting/printing is recommended for most cases. Backside painting/printing creates a depth and sheen as well as being less likely to be scratched or damaged once installed. However, bright lights may cause some glare on backside painted/printed signs, in this case, softer and indirect lighting may eliminate this problem or frontside painting/printing is used alternatively.
Frosted acrylic diffuses light and provides a translucent background to your design.
Frosted acrylic can be combined with backside painting/printing to create a nice effect called Crystal-Ice finish. In case metallic paint or ink is used to paint or print the backside, a distinguished visual effect called Metallic-Ice finish is produced.
